Goal Accomplished

A goal accomplished, a conquest made

An angst defeated, a vanquish stayed

It took forever, to get it done

To learn this lesson, that was no fun

I’ll make my next choice with more precision

I’ll be more diligent with my decision.

There are some subjects not meant to mine

To just ignore them would be just fine.

I knew I’d bit off, more than I could chew

But once I started, ‘twas  just “follow through”.

So I’m smarter now than I was back then

And I’ll be more careful when I plan

My next project, my next venture

So it will be a “fun” adventure!
